Chemical Peel

Expert Chemical Peel Treatments

At N6 Dermaesthetics Clinic, we offer chemical peels as one of our premier skincare treatments. Chemical peels, a cosmetic procedure, involve the use of a chemical solution to exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin. Our aestheticians perform this procedure using medical-grade or pharmaceutical-grade agents, specially formulated to address specific skin concerns.

Ensuring Safety with Medical-Grade Skincare

We prioritize safety by using only medical-grade skincare products for chemical peel treatments. These products, suitable for all skin types, contain high-quality ingredients customized based on individual skin concerns. Our aestheticians evaluate your skin concerns and recommend the best chemical peel for you.

The Science Behind Chemical Peels

The process of performing a chemical peel on the skin is through the use of these potent agents. Applied to the skin, they penetrate the outermost layer, exfoliating and removing dead skin cells. The result is a brighter, smoother, and more even complexion. The acids used in chemical peels are concentrated and work in a controlled way.

Tailored Chemical Peels for Your Skin

At N6 Dermaesthetics Clinic, we offer different types of chemical peels, such as salicylic acid, TCA, alpha and beta hydroxy acids, lactic acid, or a blend of these ingredients. The choice depends on your skin concerns and desired results.

Are Chemical Peels Safe?

Yes, it is a common question, and the answer is that chemical peels are indeed safe and relatively low-risk. However, it’s important to choose a reputable clinic like N6 Dermaesthetics and work with an experienced aesthetician. If you have any concerns or questions about your treatment, it’s always a good idea to discuss them with your aesthetician, especially if you’re currently undergoing any medical treatments or taking medications that could affect your chemical peel.

What Happens During An Appointment?

When you arrive for your chemical peel appointment at N6 Dermaesthetics, your aesthetician will greet you and discuss your specific skin needs. During this consultation, it’s important to disclose any relevant medical information that could affect your treatment. Based on your goals and skin type, your aesthetician will recommend the best chemical peel for you. Finally, you’ll receive a post-treatment care guide to help you maintain your results and ensure proper healing.

Types of Peels

We Provide Three Types of Peels

Light Chemical Peel

A superficial chemical peel gently removes the outer skin layer (epidermis), targeting fine wrinkles, acne, uneven tone, and dryness. Typically, a light peel is recommended every two to five weeks.

Medium Chemical Peel

A medium chemical peel removes skin cells from both the epidermis and portions of the upper dermis to address wrinkles, acne scars, and uneven skin tone. Additional sessions may be necessary for achieving and sustaining your desired outcome.

Deep Chemical Peel

A deep chemical peel targets skin cells at a deeper level, recommended by your doctor for severe wrinkles, scars, or precancerous areas. Unlike other peels, it typically offers the full effect without requiring repeat procedures.

How Long Will A Chemical Peel Treatment Take ?

A chemical peel would take between 30-60 minutes. This depends on the type of chemical peel you select.

What Does The Treatment Feel Like?

Each patient has a unique experience, as skin and peel types impact your overall experience. Please note that it is normal to experience mild tingling, itching, and warming sensations; this is the chemical peel doing its job.

What Can I Expect After A Treatment?

After your appointment, you will see healthier and smoother skin. You may experience redness, peeling, and mild irritation, which can last a few days up to 1-2 weeks. The majority of peeling should subside by day 5 depending on the strength of the peel. At MD Skin Lab, we always recommend keeping your skin moisturized and avoiding sun exposure. We recommend applying regular SPF 30+. The aftercare instructions will be reviewed thoroughly by our Aesthetician
